Jim Poe co-founded Radius Partners and works closely with client company boards, investors and CEOs to attract leaders for CEO, C-suite and functional VP-level positions. He has more than two decades of experience in the retained search business, all of which has been focused in the technology industry across industrial tech, energy, software, connected devices (IoT) and enterprise infrastructure segments. His work with client companies includes experience with VC- backed early stage businesses through mid-market private and publicly traded corporations to well-established global enterprises. He works closely with his clients to develop and execute search strategies to attract the best possible talent for their assignments, never merely the best available talent.
Jim brings a thoughtful, thorough, and patient manner to his client engagements as required to help define key responsibilities and requirements given the specific needs of the business, and has a keen ability to listen and understand the nuances of each client and their mission.
Prior to Radius, Jim spent ten years as a Partner with Polachi/Access Search Partners. Previously, he led Nagler, Robins & Poe for 9+ years as an owner, and earlier was a Vice President with Fenwick Partners, one of the first technology industry boutique firms, later acquired by Heidrick & Struggles.
Jim lives in Medfield, Massachusetts with his wife Jayne, where they have raised their two children. He is an instrument-rated private pilot, an avid runner, and enjoys spending free time in warmer months on the coast of Maine.
